Life-Time-Extension for FPSO: MAERSK CURLEW at Blohm + Voss Repair

The Life-Time-Extension for MAERSK CURLEW was finished after nine weeks stying at the yard of Blohm + Voss Repair in Hamburg/Germany. The 263 meter long special offshore ship underwent a so called “Life Time Extension”. It was refitted for the next 10 years. Among other things the following work was done: steel works to boost the tanks, cleaning and coating of the cargo ballast tanks, maintenance of the pipe mill, maintenance of the superstructural parts, coating of the bodyshell.
